Our Futures Trading is a marketplace where Providers list real opportunities, Funders help pay for eligible ones, and vetted Trusted Partners claim funded or ready-to-claim opportunities for people they already support. Providers deliver. Funders see what happened.
Not sure where you fit?A practical way to move opportunity from where it exists to where it can make a difference. A lesson, workshop, placement, mentoring session, training place, sports programme, creative activity or community project can be listed, funded, claimed and delivered through a trusted process.
One opportunity, start to finish
Here is how one real opportunity could move through the platform.

A Provider lists five places in a practical workshop
It might be food-growing, bike repair, sewing, cooking, digital basics, language practice, job-readiness or another useful local skill.

A Funder covers one place
An individual, church, business, school, NGO or community group can fund a specific place, or contribute alongside others.

A vetted Trusted Partner claims the place
The Trusted Partner already works with people who could benefit and privately chooses someone they support.

The Provider delivers the opportunity
The workshop, session, placement or programme happens as agreed.

The Trusted Partner confirms what happened
The platform records the opportunity’s progress, not the person’s private details.

The Funder sees the outcome
The update is privacy-safe. The recipient is not publicly named, and stories or photos are only shared with explicit consent.
Where do you fit?
Different people use Our Futures Trading in different ways. The same opportunity can be listed, funded, claimed, delivered and tracked without exposing the person receiving it.

Payments made through Our Futures Trading support specific opportunities listed by Providers. They are not charitable donations.
Understanding opportunity types
Not every opportunity works the same way. These labels show what action is possible.
- Open Opportunity
- apply or enquire directly with the Provider. Not funded through Our Futures Trading.
- Needs funding
- Funders can help cover the cost so a Trusted Partner can claim it for someone they support.
- Provider-Funded
- the Provider has covered the cost fully or partly. A Trusted Partner can claim it.
- Partner-Managed
- an approved Trusted Partner coordinates or delivers access. It may or may not need funding.
- Ready to Claim
- funded or covered and ready for an approved Trusted Partner to claim.

For Trusted Partners
Claim funded or ready-to-claim opportunities for people you already support, and privately choose who receives them. You are never expected to publicly identify anyone. Providers and Trusted Partners review each other after delivery, helping build trust across the platform. Trusted Partners may also apply for Partner-Managed approval if they coordinate or deliver opportunities themselves.
