Nature of the Platform
Our Futures Trading operates as a marketplace that connects providers, funders, Trusted Partners and opportunity seekers.
The platform facilitates the listing, discovery, funding and claiming of opportunities offered by independent Providers.
Payments made through the platform support specific opportunities, services, programmes, placements, goods or activities and are not charitable donations.
Our Futures Trading is not a charitable organisation, fundraising platform or philanthropic foundation.
Providers remain responsible for the opportunities they offer, including compliance with applicable laws, regulations, taxes, licences and consumer protection requirements.
Funders, Providers and Trusted Partners participate voluntarily and acknowledge that Our Futures Trading acts solely as a facilitator of connections and transactions between participants.
Privacy-first approach
Our Futures Trading tracks opportunities, not personal hardship stories. We don't collect medical histories, income data or case notes.
Recipient privacy
Recipients are never publicly identified. Trusted Partners are responsible for allocating opportunities privately to the people they already support.
Consent, photography and story sharing
Outcome / impact notes are anonymous by default. A short anonymous impact note is the minimum required at completion. Anonymous quotes, photos or identifying stories may only be shared where the Trusted Partner confirms in writing that the recipient has given written consent. Trusted Partners are responsible for obtaining and retaining that consent.
Contact details shared between Provider and Trusted Partner
Once a Provider confirms a claim, the named operational contact details (organisation, contact name, title, email and phone) of the Provider and Trusted Partner are shared with each other so they can arrange delivery directly. These details are not shown publicly.

What we collect — recipients
We do not collect detailed recipient identity. Trusted Partners manage allocation directly with the people they support.
Payments and payment information
Payments are processed securely through Stripe. Our Futures Trading does not store card details on its servers. Payment-related information may be used to confirm transactions, support claims, protect participants and manage disputes in line with our Platform Rules.
Disputes and platform review
Where there is a dispute, complaint, safeguarding concern or suspected misuse, Our Futures Trading may review relevant opportunity, claim, payment and communication records needed to understand and manage the issue. Operational rules for disputes and escalation are explained in our Platform Rules.
Failed or stalled opportunities
If an opportunity does not start, a claim fails, or an opportunity is cancelled or closed after review, Our Futures Trading may use relevant opportunity and payment information to manage the next steps. Reallocation rules are explained in our Platform Rules.
Reviews
Providers and Trusted Partners may review each other after delivery. Review information may be checked before publication and may be removed if it is false, abusive or inconsistent with our Platform Rules.
Public impact reporting
We may publish anonymised, aggregated impact data — the number of opportunities funded, claimed and delivered. Never individuals without consent.
