Terms of Use
The terms that apply when you use Our Futures Trading.

Acceptance of terms
By using Our Futures Trading you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

Nature of the platform
Our Futures Trading is a connecting platform between Providers, Funders and Trusted Partners, helping opportunities move from where they exist to people who can benefit. We are not the provider of the underlying opportunities. Providers remain responsible for the opportunities they list and deliver. Trusted Partners remain responsible for matching funded or claimable opportunities with people they support.

No agency relationship
Nothing in these terms creates an agency, employment, partnership or joint-venture relationship between Our Futures Trading and any user.

Provider responsibilities
Providers are responsible for safely delivering the opportunity they list, holding any required qualifications or insurance, treating recipients like any other customer or participant, and keeping their named operational contact details up to date.

Trusted Partner responsibilities
Trusted Partners are responsible for matching opportunities with people they support, obtaining and retaining any required written consent, safeguarding, keeping their named operational contact details up to date, supporting the recipient through the opportunity, and providing at least an anonymous outcome / impact note at completion.

Funder responsibilities
Funders agree that contributions are made in good faith to support opportunities and are not charitable donations.

Claim workflow and contact sharing
Trusted Partners may claim funded opportunities on behalf of the people they support. Once the Provider confirms a claim, contact details of the Provider and Trusted Partner are shared with each other so they can arrange delivery directly. The Provider may instead request clarification or escalate operational issues to Our Futures Trading.

Payment protection
No Provider payment is released at claim stage. The first 50% releases only once both the Provider and Trusted Partner confirm the opportunity has started. The remaining 50% releases only once both confirm completion. Disputed milestones pause payment pending review.

Disputes, escalation and Our Futures Trading authority
Either party may report a problem or escalate to Our Futures Trading. Our Futures Trading may intervene where there is a dispute, fraud, suspicious behaviour, complaint, no contact, no progress, safeguarding concern, or other manual review need. Our Futures Trading has authority to pause payments, confirm milestones manually, cancel claims, resolve disputes, and reallocate funds where a funded opportunity does not proceed, in line with platform rules.

Failed or stalled opportunities — reallocation
Where a funded opportunity does not start, a claim fails, or a claim is cancelled or closed after review, Our Futures Trading may reallocate the funds to a similar eligible opportunity.

Consent, privacy and photography
Recipients are not publicly identified. Anonymous impact notes are the minimum required at completion. Anonymous quotes, photos or identifying stories may only be shared where the Trusted Partner confirms written consent has been obtained from the recipient.

Intellectual property
The Our Futures Trading name, logo, website content, design, graphics, platform wording and related materials belong to Longer Table Ltd or are used with permission. Users may not copy, reproduce, adapt or reuse platform content, branding or materials without written permission.
Providers, Funders and Trusted Partners retain ownership of content they submit, but grant Our Futures Trading permission to use that content as needed to operate, display, promote and improve the platform.

Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the value of fees retained on the affected transaction.

No guarantee of outcomes
We do not guarantee specific outcomes from any opportunity. We do our best to verify Providers and Trusted Partners, but verification is not endorsement.
- 15
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
- 16
International rights
Nothing in these terms limits any rights you may have under the laws of your own country. If you are located in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protection or privacy laws, those rights apply to you in addition to these terms.
